Our Ministry Area Council, on which each of our churches has a Ministry Area representative, is responsible for the overall running of the Ministry Area within the Diocesan management structure. Our Ministry Team, which comprises both ordained and lay ministry personnel, deals with all ministry matters. These include services, study groups, pastoral visiting, messy church, baptisms, weddings and funerals. Each church has a Church Committee, including a churchwarden, who are responsible for the day-to-day running of each church. The structure is illustrated in the diagram below. We also have a Ministry Area Administrator who assists in administrative duties and is a central point of contact for the Ministry Area for anyone not dealing with a known contact such as a particular minister or churchwarden.
