The Blaenwysg Group of six rural churches is based in the west of Bannau Brycheiniog/Brecon Beacon National Park. Currently each church has at least one service a month. There is a regular monthly pattern, which you can find below. However, a more detailed rota with any variations as well as any fund raising events are posted in Sennybridge Post Office and on the Blaenwysg Cluster Facebook page, which in turn is shared with the local Facebook groups.
On the fourth Sunday there is normal a Family/ All Age service in Llywel at 11 am. This is a shorted act of worship which may include some discussion and crafts. It is followed by refreshments and a warm welcome is offered to all. In addition, a mid-week Communion service is held in Trecastle Community Hall at 10 am on the first and third Thursday of each month. Everyone is welcome and the short service is followed by refreshments.
A small Sunday School is run on Monday afternoons in Trecastle Community Hall. The Off the Bus Club runs during term time from 3.45pm until 5pm. All children are welcome to enjoy a mix of Bible stories, singing, games, craft and, of course, snack.
