The Beacons Group of six rural churches currently operate services in rotation as a group of five churches every month – Cantref, Llandetty, Llanfeugan, Llanfrynach and Llanhamlach – with services at Llansantffraed generally only held at festival times such as Easter, Christmas etc . There is also a monthly Family Church service in the Henderson Hall in Talybont-on-Usk where there is easy access. As well as on this website, posters – as below – showing the Group’s current church services are posted on all church and community noticeboards in the Beacons area. Anyone is welcome to attend. Services at all our Group’s churches and the Henderson Hall are always followed by coffee and a chat.
The Beacons Group also publishes a Weekly Noticesheet and Service to read at home. This is emailed, and paper copies delivered locally, by Liz Bramley – contact her if you wish to be included on the circulation list. The Noticesheet includes information on forthcoming church, community and fundraising events.
