Our mission is to sustain and grow the lives of God’s people in our church congregations and their communities across the Brecon and Epynt Ministry Area, nourishing them with the love and hope that Jesus offers.
How does mission work in a Ministry Area?
In some of our churches, there are limited local resources for mission, but by pooling our resources across the Ministry Area and engaging with our local communities, our church congregations have an opportunity to become more sustainable and effective. Between us we have gifts in preaching, teaching, music, children’s work, care for the elderly, building maintenance, catering, prayer, arts and crafts, administration … which can provide a basis for sustainability and growth. When we work together, then we really can start to fulfil the diocesan vision:

A family, rooted in Christ, committed to transforming lives by Gathering as God’s people, Growing more like Jesus, Going Out in the power of the spirit.
Our Mission Action Plan
Our Ministry Area Council and Ministry Team are developing a Mission Action Plan. This will build on the present patterns of church worship and church-related activities and, led by our Church Growth Group, bring in new activities and worship to foster both spiritual growth and community engagement and so expand the reach of our ministry.
