Non-stipendiary priest (local-ordained minister) working in the Beacons Group of churches.
Liz graduated in languages from the University of London and worked as a teacher in London and Bristol, working mainly with immigrants and refugees, and finally managing a large Languages department in the Further Education College in Bristol. She is also mother to three children and the family lived in Indonesia for five years. She retired in 2008 and moved back with her husband to Llanhamlach where she had originally moved with her parents in 1960. Back in Wales, she began studying theology at St Padarn’s and was ordained Deacon in 2015 and a Priest in 2016 to work as a Local Ordained Minister – the best job she has had so far!
