Gill Todd is the Brecon and Epynt Ministry Area Leader and is based at St David’s Llanddew.
Educated in South Wales, graduated in medicine from the Welsh National School of Medicine. She became a Member of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine in 1979 and a Fellow 1987.
In 1979 she was appointed as a Consultant in Public Health Medicine, to the Trent Regional Health Authority and in 1984 as District General Manager, Central Nottinghamshire Health Authority. In 1991 she became Chief Executive South Birmingham Acute Unit prior to returning to Wales in 1994 as Chief Executive of South Glamorgan Health Authority then Bro Taf Health Authority and in 1999 was made Director of the Specialised Health Service Commission for Wales. She completed her career as Medical Director of Powys Local Health Board.
Gill trained as a reader, was licenced in 2008 and obtained a Certificate of Theology. She was ordained in 2019 and priested in 2020. She was the Chair of the Representation of Women’s group for the province and is the chair of both the Audit Committee and the Safeguarding Board for the Diocese of Swansea and Brecon.
