The area
The church stands by itself in farming countryside in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons about 1/2 mile to the south west of the village of Pencelli. This is also walking country and visitors are always welcome.
The church
The church is an interesting building with parts dating back to the 13th century. It is substantial, having a north aisle alongside the nave. The tower has a fine peal of eight bells which rings out across the Usk Valley and is a popular destination for visiting bell ringers.
